Why Is My Session Disconnected With the Error “Unauthorized Access to SPARTN Service”

This message is typically caused by a mismatch between your PointPerfect Flex Thing type and the mountpoint you selected.

For example, if you have a PointPerfect Flex RTCM Thing but connect your NTRIP client to the NEAR-SPARTN mountpoint, the service will reject the session with:

disconnected from the session with the reason 'Unauthorized Access to service SPARTN'

To fix it:

• In the Thingstream portal, check whether your Thing is Flex RTCM or Flex SPARTN.
• If it is a Flex RTCM Thing, configure your NTRIP client to use the NEAR-RTCM mountpoint (not NEAR-SPARTN).
• Make sure the username and password in your NTRIP client exactly match the credentials of that same Thing.
