During periods of elevated solar or geomagnetic activity, GNSS positioning performance can be degraded. Severe ionospheric disturbances may increase convergence times, reduce RTK fix availability, or cause temporary RTK Float solutions even when the receiver has good sky visibility and is correctly configured.
Because these events are relatively uncommon, customers should first verify receiver configuration, correction delivery, antenna installation, signal availability, and local environmental conditions before investigating space weather effects.
