How to fix the issue "svcr120.dll is missing" when running u-center on Windows 10 or 11

When first running u-center on Windows 10/11 the following message may be displayed and u-center will fail to open.

This issue occurs on machines that do not have Visual Studio 2013 & Latest supported v14 are installed.

To resolve this, download and install the required exes from the following page on the Microsoft site: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2013-vc-120-no-longer-supported

• For 32 bit machines:
  • Install the exe: vcredist_x86.exe
    • The svcr120.dll file will be added to the folder (C:) > Windows > SysWOW64
• For 64 bit machines install both:
  • Install the exe: vcredist_x86.exe
    • The svcr120.dll file will be added to the folder (C:) > Windows > SysWOW64
  • Install the exe: vcredist_x64.exe
    • The svcr120.dll file will be added to the folders (C:) > Windows > System32

After completing this process, you should be able to successfully run u-center.

A machine reboot may be required if u-center still does not run
