PointPerfect Live uses RTCM correction streams delivered over IP with relatively low bandwidth requirements. Typical data consumption is in the range of 4–6 Kbps, depending on the selected mountpoint and message format (e.g., MSM4 or MSM7).
- MSM4: Lower bandwidth usage (typically closer to ~4 Kbps), sufficient for most applications
- MSM7: Higher bandwidth usage (typically closer to ~6 Kbps), due to more detailed observation data
This makes the service suitable for use over standard cellular connections; however, stable connectivity is required to maintain continuous RTK corrections and avoid interruptions in positioning performance.
