To receive L-band signals, you need L-band compatible antennas to receive PointPerfect L-band corrections.
Understanding L-band:
L-band is part of the radio spectrum that ranges from 1 to 2 GHz. The NEO-D9S specifically supports frequencies between 1525.0 and 1559.0 MHz. You can also find more details on compatible L-band antennas in section 4.2 NEO-D9S Integration Manual.
We use regional satellites for L-band corrections, each with its specific frequency:
- Europe (EU): 1545.26 MHz
- North America (NA): 1556.29 MHz
- South America (SA): 1545.83 Mhz
Examples of fully compatible L-band Antennas: are LBAND01D-S6-00 and the Tallysman TW3972.
Note: The GNSS ANN-MB-00 antenna will not work for most L-band regions since it is outside the operating frequency ranges.
